Inspiration

My roots as a small town Floridian became apparent in my first collection. While designing, I found myself wanting to give texture to my metal - not just any texture, but texture reminiscent of an alligator pattern.

As my model making continued, I found I strayed from my initial idea, a common theme for me, and soon developed a new pattern. I realized it reminded me of little footprints, so I kept the alligator theme. Apparently, the Floridian who was raised on University Florida Gator football, saw a few alligators in her time, and became a UF 'gator' herself didn't stray far from her roots.
